Booking Terms & Conditions

DL Cars Queenstown

Effective Date: 01 February 2025

These Booking Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all services provided by DL Cars Queenstown (“we”, “us”, “our”) to our clients (“you”, “your”). By booking our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Bookings

1.1. All bookings must be made via our website, email, or phone and are subject to availability.

1.2. Full details of the journey, including date, time, pickup and drop-off locations, and any special requests, must be provided at the time of booking.

2. Payments

2.1. All prices are quoted in New Zealand Dollars and includes GST unless stated otherwise.

2.2. Payment must be made in full before the commencement of the journey unless otherwise agreed.

2.3. We accept payments via bank transfer, credit/debit card.

3. Cancellations and Refunds

3.1. You may cancel your booking by notifying us via phone or email.

3.2. Cancellation fees apply as follows:

    • More than 48 hours before the booking: Full refund
    • Between 24-48 hours before the booking: 50% refund
    • Less than 24 hours: No refund

3.3. No-shows will be charged the full fare.

4. Delays and Waiting Time

4.1. Our drivers will wait up to 15 minutes at no extra charge.

4.2. Waiting time beyond the grace period will be charged at $55.00 per 30 minutes.

4.3. We are not responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, including traffic, weather, or road closures.

5. Passenger Conduct

5.1. Passengers are expected to behave in a respectful and lawful manner.

5.2. We reserve the right to terminate any journey immediately if a passenger is abusive, poses a safety risk, or violates these Terms.

5.3. The hirer is responsible for any damage caused by passengers during the journey.

6. Luggage and Personal Items

6.1. Reasonable luggage is allowed per passenger, subject to vehicle capacity.

6.2. We are not responsible for loss or damage to personal items left in the vehicle.

7. Vehicle Substitution

7.1. While we make every effort to provide the vehicle requested, we reserve the right to substitute an alternative if necessary.

8. Insurance and Liability

8.1. All our vehicles are fully insured for passenger and third-party claims.

8.2. We are not liable for any consequential losses or missed connections (e.g., flights, buses). 

9. Force Majeure

9.1. We shall not be liable for any failure to perform our obligations due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, or acts of terrorism.

10. Amendments

11.1. We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. The latest version will be available on our website.
